Rally led by Native Hawaiians on the sidelines of the IUCN Congress in Honolulu. Demands included fighting against the Desecration of Sacred Mauna Kea, challenging the Trans Pacific Partnership, the destructive role of the US Military in the Pacific, the proposed Department of Interior rule to create a Native Hawaiian Tribe and opposition to the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Over 200 people started at the state capitol building, then marched four
blocks to the TD branch. We occupied the entire block for an hour.
Several depositors went inside and closed their accounts.
We started at the statehouse because the State of Vermont deposits 70%
of its unrestricted cash in the bank.

Sarah Burkhart, a 23-year-old environmental science major at Southern New Hampshire University, believes that the widely controversial Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) is a big issue because it will bring "total destruction" to the environment. As an aspiring climate expert, she continues to follow Hillary's campaign to protest DAPL and spread awareness about climate change to the American public.
