Following in the footsteps of American photographer William Eggleston, we were ‘at war with the obvious’. The challenge was to avoid all the cliché shots – the obvious stuff like beach huts, piers, seagulls and look for the interesting in the mundane.

The double pine tree emblem of the East Coast Greenway was installed Aug. 15, 2011, on the South Dade Trail near Cutler Bay, Fla. The Greenway, when completed, will stretch extend nearly 3,000 miles from Key West, Fla., to Calais, Maine, on the Canadian border. Green Mobility Network used a Kodak Grant from The Conservation Fund to acquire the first Greenway signs for the South Dade Trail and the M-Path, now being installed by path owner Miami-Dade Transit.
