First flown with the Boeing test registration N1786B, this aircraft was delivered to Condor Flugdienst as D-ABOG in Mar-99. Condor was taken over by the Thomas Cook Travel Group and renamed Thomas Cook Airlines Germany in Jun-02.

However this didn't go down well with the German Holidaymakers who had no idea who Thomas Cook was, so in Jun-04 the airline once again became Condor Flugdienst in the standard blue Thomas Cook Group livery.

It was fitted with blended winglets in Jan-10, The aircraft was leased to Thomas Cook Airlines UK as G-JMOG in Apr-17 but retained it's Condor titles. it was returned to Condor Flugdienst as D-ABOG in Apr-18.

On 23-Sep-19 the Thomas Cook Group UK ceased operations, taking Thomas Cook Airlines UK with it. Condor Flugdienst stopped operating for a couple of days before it was granted an emergency loan from the German Government.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic it was stored at Frankfurt, Hahn and Dusseldorf between Oct-20 and Mar-21. The aircraft continues in service, still in the final Thomas Cook Group livery. Current, updated 19-Aug-24.

Note: The registration D-ABOG was previously used on a Lufthansa Boeing 707-430.

D-ABOG is lining up on runway 07 for take-off. Lufthansa operated five Boeing 707-430s with Rolls-Royce Conway engines: D-ABOB, D-ABOC, D-ABOD, D-ABOF and D-ABOG.

In the summer of 1976 Lufthansa retired its Rolls-Royce powered Boeing 707-430s. Of the 5 707-430s that the airline owned, 4 of them went on to work either directly or indirectly with infamous Biafra war mercenary pilot, Henry 'Hank' Warton. See here for more details:

First flight 23 February 1961 and delivered to Lufthansa as D-ABOG on 17 March 1961. Sold as N9985F in October 1976. Ended up as 3C-ABH with Bata Intern / Israel Aircraft Industries / Air Sinai. Almost burnt out 6 March 1989 at Tel Aviv-Ben Gurion Airport during fire-exercise; the cockpit remained and was attached to the fuselage of Boeing 707-458 4X-ATA c/n 18070/205 used as a cabin trainer. Slovenski bog koji daje život Zemlji, jer je istovremeno bog Sunca (sunčeve toplote) i kiše koji su najvažniji uslovi za opstanak ljudi. On je istovremeno i bog podzemnog sveta i rodonačelnik Slovena (ljudi). Dabog je prema usamljenom tumačenju Veselina Čajkanovića bio i vrhovni bog Srba.
