Front of shirt - designed by Dale from our podcast. I think he did an awesome job! :D

Several months ago, I randomly commented on a podcast's website that was reviewing the film Re-Animator. They suggested I put my money where my mouth was and come on air to talk about their next review, Bride of Re-Animator.

What began as a one-time guest shot ended up becoming a permanent gig as part of a wonderful team of people from Indiana. These guys (and gal!) are a joy to work with and it's really gotten me involved and interested in podcasting.

Visit us if you dare at Plan Nine from Cyberspace to listen to our uncensored reviews of obscure films, thoughts, and a few poems thrown in for good measure. :)

LOVE ON THE BIT by OUANANICHE (CA)

Virtual presence, physical absence… The Cyberspace is moving deeply love and sexual relationships.

Melting documentary and fiction, Love on the Bit is an hybrid videomusical performance, constantly mutating, that carries us in a virtual, aesthetic space of flesh and pixels. Anonymous bodies are gathering or dislocating, sounds are combining or clashing in a violent poetry, just like the paradoxal but real world of cybersex. This is the place of the greatest sharing and the most striking loneliness. Love on the Bit is an erotic meeting… with machines.

Here I am again in this mean old town - holding a picture of Lloyd holding a picture of Alex holding a picture from Caravaggio. The second one I took at Alex's exhibition, the third is one that Lloyd had taken of Alex a while back. Click it to see the original.

Miao Xiaochun ‘The Last Judgment in Cyberspace’, exhibition ‘Transfiguration’, China, Venice Biennale 2013.

THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN! ¨

Miao Xiaochun depicts sacred images from art history (Noah’s Ark, The Last Judgment, The Pieta etc.) transfiguring them with intercultural elements in the context of contemporary existence. ‘The Last Judgement in Cyberspace’ is a digital interpretation of Michelangelo’s Renaissance masterpiece.

Did you know everyone with an online identity have a Klout profile waiting for some attention?

I didn't either until several weeks ago. Join me on Klout, send me your profile information and lets be +K in cyberspace. Word on the cyberstreets is Klout numbers are going to be used for business, employment, perks and god only know what else? Better to have build up your Klout than to have none at all!
