Custom made for a formal french dining room, these drapes feature semi-sheer silk panels in the center, framed by heavy ivory silk drapes, pulled back to the sides. The turban wrap valance, jabot and side cascades are all done in pink silk jacquard. The gold loop trim and gold tassels are the perfect finishing touch for this formal french victorian design. A custom piece I made for my Fox costume, think of a lace up ankle cuff. I'll make a bow in the tails of the ribbon when I'm actually wearing it, I just laced it so you can get the idea.

This is the ring I was waiting for, made by Van Meter's Silversmithing in Chloride, Arizona. The stone amazed me when I saw it for it is most unusual and colorful. I have photos of the geologist's assay report and pictures of where this cal-silicate was found in Mexico. Cal-silicate is rock formed at high metamorphic pressure and heat in a volcanic zone. It has unusual colors and banding. I picked out three stones and the small matching pair are now earrings for me. A different look from the turquoise jewelry all through the Southwest and a treasure to this rockhound.
See Mr. Van Meter in his shop here, with these pieces before he finished them for me.
