customised diecast Jeep Wrangler JK by Kevin Field

After I bought my Jeep (the first 2-door Wrangler JL though my local dealer, and the first that I saw), I decided to make a model version of it. There were no JL models, so I used a diecast of the previous JK, and began by dismantling it and stripping most of the paint.

Last summer me and Ms Standingby ran a stall on Brick Lane selling tee shirts, paintings and so on and so forth. I almost made my money back over the four week run.

I thought this cap would be sell like a hot cake, sadly it didn't. It now resides in the bottom of wardrobe, if you'd like it let me know. I'd like to trdae it for some cool shit please.

2 Tiers customised cake for 1 yr old Gal.. top is 15cm diameter and bottom is 22cm diameter (total weight abt 3kgs). Design is from customer's request, she wanted a lil baby gal figurine wearing the same dress (pic emailed to me) with a lil cow figurine as her friend..

I must say I loved the result of the cake.. very sweet and elegant yet the polkadots added that playful themed!! cant wait to do another one of this again!!!

Two items I customised make their debut.

The shrug was the work of about 10 minutes this lunchtime - it's this jacket turned inside out and cut down. I'd noticed a similar but very expensive one being touted in Marie Claire as the next big thing! It's not really that lop-sided - I'd been carrying a shoulder bag and didn't realise it had got pulled down on one side. I made the skirt from an enormous batwing-sleeved top I bought very cheap in a sale because I loved the fabric, although the shape did nothing for me. At the moment it's just a tube shape and I had to pull it up a few times. I'm thinking of putting in a drawstring with beads in a couple of the brighter colours on the ends.
