Governor Larry Hogan recognized Tom Schisler with a Customer Service Heroes Award. Schisler, executive director of Somers Cove Marina in Crisfield, was honored for enhancing customer service and improving facility maintenance at the state-managed marina. The award presentation occurred during the Board of Public Works meeting.
The Library held a series of staff development sessions for Access Services at the new Library Administrative Center which included healthy and productive conversations about challenged books, the freedom to read, and self-care strategies to manage workplace stresses. Staff also had an opportunity to ask Library leadership any questions that were on their mind. Light refreshments, lunch, and activities were provided throughout the day.

Stupak, a project manager with the Maryland Forest Service, was presented a citation by Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford before the July 26 Board of Public Works meeting.

Apparently there is a limit on number of group members in LinkedIn groups ! One of my groups reached 3,000 members. The error msg says to contact LinkedIn customer service - so I did... and after the whole day of waiting... NOTHING! they even did not acknowledge they received my email... hmmm - will keep waiting I guess...
