This unique trike was built from an air-cooled mid-70's VW Beetle and a 1987 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. It features seating for two passengers and a gull wing style door. It is a great ride and an eye catcher. It is fun to own.

The split-window VW Bus body appears to have been a 13-window "Deluxe" Microbus, probably a type code 241 or 251.

Nice Rat Rod in the parking lot. It's for sale, so the owner probably didn't want to pay the entrance fee, and have it cut into his profit.

Fine old ride arriving.

I designed and built this recumbent trike in my little shop this winter. They go very fast, my personal record is 32 mph.

Now this is a custom!

Painted these flames on the Bus me & Ekto did last week...

This is a Hot Wheels Dairy Delivery truck which I have customized with new wheels. It's a digital creation as the wheels I chose aren't really wheels. They're actually the ends from a little screwdriver set I have and they matched the color of the truck. I thought they'd look pretty good, as they're like disc wheel covers only they curve inwardly instead of outwardly like normal disc wheel covers which are usually chrome or brushed aluminium. Still, they keep a nice, clean look for the truck which I tend to like more than too many graphics and excessive chrome.

I have also taken a black marker and filled in the grille and used a silver marker to color the signal lights and headlights.

This Chevy pickup had a stance that was down in the weeds. But, being as it probably started out life as a work truck, it should be pretty comfortable in the weeds.

The necessities.

Model T replica made from a 4x8 utility trailer and a garden tractor cut in half. A Refrigerator was cut for the body, Motorcycle wheels and tires. I used a 6.5 tecumseh engine with a pulley belt clutch, pillow blocks with a go cart bearing kit purchased from northern tool.

I just took a shot of the tail, and worked my way around the front when the owner popped the hood. I said something about being just a little too late, and he dropped the hood for me. I wasn't going to complain that he left it released.

My 5 year old son and I built this go cart, we both like sprint cars and we used parts from northern tools to build it, it has a 5 horse briggs motor and dual pedal controls. He learned alot about tools that summer. We had a lot of fun building it. thanks northern tools.

From this angle, the flames on the custom Volkswagen Karmann Ghia really become apparent. Notice the trunk lid lip is raised slightly - probably to allow more air to the engine, I would guess.

Johnny Carson owned a '39 Chrysler, and when his hometown gave him a celebration upon his retirement from the Tonight Show, that is what he drove up in. This, unfortunately is not the same car.

Pitifully pitted.

A unique close-up of a custom-built vehicle with an aviation-inspired design, featuring a metallic finish and creative details like Korean script and painted art.
