First thing to do to the PSU was remove the screws saying 'warranty void if removed' and swap out the default 150cm blue lit fan for a red one, can't stand blue LED's.
Then a single gang socket pattress was placed over the modular power outlets and a chrome lid put on it with 4x20mm holes drilled to accept the shower hoses.
You can see in the pic they were lined with black 20mm rubber grommets which added a little black colour which I quite liked.
All the power cords for the mobo had to be de-plugged to allow the shower hoses to slip over and this took an age to do. The ends of the hoses were heat sealed to provide a smoother exit for the cables and eliminate the risk of cutting them.
The main ATX loom was also stripped down and re-skinned but is shown here in it's bare state. Once the whole PSU was modded out it's total weight alone was close on 8lb !

Laing D4 pump with optional Polar Flo chrome front and Criticool water plant using 1/2" barbs. Inside the Criticool reservoir can be seen the added temperature probe from the T-Balancer. This was fitted by myself by drilling the bottom of the res' and Araldite in the sensor. Worked a treat..
The coolant used in the rig was an early version of Fluid XP with a small amount of powder dye and 2 drops of Petras Tech PTNuke to 1l of fluid (just on, one litre in the whole loop).

This is a shot of the LCD Screen side naked with the external shell off.
It is also visible the side of the GPU cooler that is usually hidden and how the GPU cables run inside it.
They are my duo for the #CMWS20, it took a lot of work but I love 'em.
