1927 Model T Ford Custom roadster built by Frank Mac
Lowered with the body channelled 3” over the frame. The nose was formed from two 1941 Chevy front fenders with headlights from a 1927 Jordan.
From the Goodguys 2nd WIX Filters Speedway Nationals, September 21, 22 and 23, 2012 in Indianapolis, IN, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Hot rods, customs and more on display. To qualify, all vehicles had to be at least 40 years old (1972 and older). The Custom Car gathering in Worthing coincided with the first day of the London 2012 Olympics. As I was committed to London 2012 my daughter kindly agreed to follow in Dad's footsteps and take pictures of anything she could so I've credited these shots to her though they are still posted under the Creative Commons, Attrib, No Commercial, No Derivative licence.

1929 Ford “Niekamp Roadster”
Built in 1949 by Bill Niekamp on a 1927 frame with a modified 1942 Mercury 239cu-in V8 and 1939 Ford rear axle.
The hood and nose-piece are hand fabricated in aluminium.
