In 1967 the Ministry of Transport commissioned a fleet of seven custom-built Bedford vehicles to go around the country promoting British production techniques. Only one bus survives and it took the current owner Ollie Halls five years to retore the mobile cinema to it's pristine condition. The Vintage Mobile Cinema seats 22 in comfort and has a state-of-the-art HD digital projection unit. Above the cab there is ( for the 1960's ) a futuristic-looking clear Perspex dome.

Here you can see where the main tuning slide assembly enters the third valve on the left side and to the left of the third valve slide, an unusual main slide configuration that Buescher had used on all the new trumpet models it introduced after 1930.

Note that the third valve slide finger ring is made of a flat brass ribbon. It's not adjustable; this one has been bent slightly out of shape, possibly on purpose by the previous owner.
I need to measure the bells on the 235 horns and see what the diameter is; not sure if they're any bigger than the Aristocrat of the time (the model 232), which was 4.25" wide. However you can see that the degree of taper in the bell-tail is gradual and doesn't start flaring out to the bell until it gets pretty close to the end.
