Rewarron's first full test day

The first Custom Built models were engraved with "Aristocrat Custom Built". After the War Buescher seems to have dropped the "Aristocrat" and simply engraved Custom Built on horns. The sales literature of the '40s and '50s also refers to them as "Custom Built" model horns without reference to the Aristocrat models.

Lamp of brushed steel and black ABS stand with small planet picture of Brooklyn Bridge. Lamps tilts forward and can be turned on its stand. Energy saving 15 W incandescent bulb for a romantic mood. Silver transparent electric chord with elegant black foot/hand switch. Height 8'', tube diameter 5''. Uses this image. See all other pictures possible in this model.

This one's beat and worn, but still pretty. Buescher made them to be visually distinctive.

The case is a typical "clamshell" style wood-framed case of the '30s. This one was made by Buescher and it is original. The green lining is a little unusual; it was an option Buescher offered, but usually Buescher's case lining is purple. Could be that the original owner thought that green would make a nice contrast to the horn's gold lacquer.

#Best discount custom fairway woods. Large selection of custom fitted and custom built fairway woods at down to earth prices. All clubs are made-to-order using high quality components. Large selection from #2 wood to #21 wood to fit any golfer.

An acquaintance of mine claims that this model's mouthpipe assembly is of a monstrous diameter he characterizes as a chops-busting "Vortex of Doom". I don't know if the 215 was the base-line Custom Built horn of that time; it could be that it was a variation with a differently configured receiver and mouthpipe.
