Duck Egg Blue mixed with Light Ghost Grey (Model Master, MM) with Flat Black stripes and trim. Inner frame is ALCLAD metallics over Gloss Black. Decals are "White Ogre" kit made (Bandai, Master Grade). Backpack is Model Master nonbuffing metallics. Leg cutaway and details are custom with MM red on added compressor. Eye is Tamiya Clear Red over MM Chrome Silver. Many armor panels left off to expose inner frame work. Fun build.

We built up this custom Long Haul Trucker for Paul in Perth. He needed a setup for doing a 'lap' around Austrlalia. This is a bombproof setup for touring. Features Schmidt SON 28 Dynamo, Supernova E3 front light, Supernova rear light, Brooks Saddle, Tubus rear rack, Surly Nice Front Rack, Pletscher Double Kickstand, Stem Captain (thermometer), Busch and Muller E-Werk - for charging an iPhone, BOB Ibex trailer, Ortlieb Sportpacker plus panniers, DT Swiss Alpine III spokes, Mavic XM519 rims , Marathon Dureme Tires. We also brazed on the mount for the front Supernova light, this is a more sturdy position and better location for touring setups. We also affixed a rear mudguard to the front wheel to for more protection from spray in wet weather

Belgian coachbuilders ATK work closely together with Renault in creating custom-built trucks to exact specifiactions of the customers. Using a Renault D-Range as basis, they create special vehicles with a very low gravity point as one of their main selling factors.
The trucks can have a total weight of either 10, 12, 14 or 16 tons, with the one seen here being a 16-tonner, as reflected in the model name.
This specific vehicle was built as a fish/seafood sales truck for Aarhus company JJ Fisk. It can also be seen on the website of ATK, where it is used as one of their references.
Going up the steep hill leading sw out of Aarhus past Viby and Stautrup. Underpowered and/or heavily loaded trucks often struggle here.

A little frog built made for #Frogust. Special thanks to Maxx Davidson for willing Frogust into existence about... yesterday? And for giving me the inspiration to sit down and build something for the first time in a good many weeks! I made this little guy yesterday after work, so technically still August.. Just wanted to wait till the morning light to get a nice photo.
