Or.... I used gaudy blue LEDs in my build.=) So sue me... it was the first computer I've built from scratch. I need to do a little cord cleanup, but DUDE is this thing a screamer.
I finished it in May of this year but never got around to posting pics. This one is actually from my G9. I should show that little guy some love from time to time too.
Redmax Alloy tank and seat , Redmax stainless high pipes and alloy morad 18" rims with Dirt track tyres - nice .

Early 70's Crescent (of Sweden) road bike. Fixed gear conversion. 531 DB frame (infamous toe-clip overlap), Nervex Pro lugs (but not fork crown), Titan stem (27.0!), English steel track bar, TA 150mm (yes!) cranks, inexpensive but nice looking, decent, wheelset (with orange pinstriping), mini fenders (as trimmings).
I finally found a use for these cranks. With the toe-clip overlap, a slightly too-big frame and fixed riding pedal clearance and RPM's always a consideration, the 150's improve on all those points, but lack in power: good for flat land! Handles really well.
We built up this custom Long Haul Trucker for Paul in Perth. He needed a setup for doing a 'lap' around Austrlalia. This is a bombproof setup for touring. Features Schmidt SON 28 Dynamo, Supernova E3 front light, Supernova rear light, Brooks Saddle, Tubus rear rack, Surly Nice Front Rack, Pletscher Double Kickstand, Stem Captain (thermometer), Busch and Muller E-Werk - for charging an iPhone, BOB Ibex trailer, Ortlieb Sportpacker plus panniers, DT Swiss Alpine III spokes, Mavic XM519 rims , Marathon Dureme Tires. We also brazed on the mount for the front Supernova light, this is a more sturdy position and better location for touring setups.
And looking great resplendent in her "brown on brown " seventies get up - complete with supertrapp and wrapped pipe !

SS fitment showing the mod to lower tank over SS frame rails (which are wider than the Sport Classic rails ) Simple mod makes all the difference !
Tank flops over the rails at front , and sits on rubbers at sides on frame rails .
We suggest you use a clip or strap to hold front down (we make a ledge to sit tank on , put rubber over it and clamp it down too !) See other pics .

HG Transient customized. First project to incorporated chiseling technique. model is 80% unpainted with a little weathering here and there.
Rattle-can black re-paint. Mavic 517 ceramics, 3 leading/3 trailing, IRO/Formula hubs running a fixed cog, Ritchey tires, Koga-Miyata prototype aluminum fork, Paul canti's (early version) Ritchey 'Force' Stem, Nitto 'Promenade' bars.
The name is from Hawaii's state fish, the translation being 'triggerfish that has a nose like a pig'.
This bike will eventually get a pro paint job, probably a metallic variant of the original royal blue, perhaps with graphics suggesting the fish's colouring (yellow and orange) and an original decal set already on hand. Original Project Two fork? Maybe. Still have it.
Phil hubs, Paul levers and some nice cranks and pedals are other possible upgrades.
June '08: Since this picture, it also has the Paul levers, X-pedo CF-1 pedals, new Brooks B-72 honey and shellacked and customized cork grips.
