An expertly painted Navy Seal by Brian's Bricks. I also added in one of my custom Mp5s. This might just be one of the best custom minifigures I've ever seen, you did an awesome job on this guy Brian!!

Parakeet Tweet!! Can't wait to start on this girl! I might switch the purple eyechips for light grey....what do you think? She will have some purple on her lids so that is why I was thinking purple.
What kind of Monster hides under that paper bag? Nobody knows...but by the time this freaks done with his victim he's gunna need a few bags to clean up the mess. Another entry for Fine Cloneiers halloween contest!
Found these the other day and thought they were too awesome not to check out.
And the verdict? They are indeed awesome.
This is a pyrex bowl that was heavily damaged, dull, and really just looked awful (the "before" picture is in my photostream). I figured why not use it for something better. The paint is all high temperature engine enamel. The pattern was made using a reusable glass stencil (the pattern is on both sides). I painted a clear coat over the paint and pattern to try and make it extra durable. I baked it in the oven at 200 deg. for 2 hours, hopefully that will set the paint correctly.
There are some flaws in the painting, but I am happy with my first attempt at this type of work. The biggest problem was the stencil wasn't made to go around something bending in multiple dimensions. I had to modify the stencil slightly so that it would lay flat. I also learned the painting needs to be very smooth for the stencil to adhere properly. Oh well... live and learn.

When I needed a building idea for my girlfriend to start into the LEGO hobby, 5580 immediately came to my mind.
It has always been a favorite of mine because it reminds me of the golden times of the beginning of the Model Team series. I still think 5580 is the most beautiful Model Team set ever produced.
I belong to the group of people who don't like 5571 Black Cat, apart for the parts.
So back to our creation. While my girlfriend built the truck, I built a matching trailer. Then we decided that the truck needed some slight improvements like a more rounded wind deflector, higher pipes, mudguards and some other small details.
No one has been as patient for so long as my custom #27. This girl has been waiting for her eye chips and body for week! Her mom's name unexpectedly moved up fast on my list so we both had to wait for her puppelina eye chips and Pure Neemo body. I think the wait was worth it! Her base doll is one of my favorite Takara Blythe releases: "Baby's Breath" RBL mold, so I thought it was fitting to give her Baby's Breath flowers on her eyelids. She got the usual work plus a cute chin. She will be traveling to Canada! Hope you love her! <3
