I found this IMMENSELY INTERESTING, so I wanted to share it. Regarding global warming.
And just so you know before you read it [or not], despite having Gore's name in the headline, this isn't about partisan politics.
Afterwards if you want, look at this page I put together: b19.org/woo.html ... It's a compilation of some of the comments from the above post on ThinkProgress.

The Germantown Parkway bridge over the flooding Wolf River in West Tennessee. The river had dropped close to six inches from it's highest level by the time this picture was taken. Some of the surrounding streets had to be closed down during Friday morning rush hour which made it an interesting commute to work.

Exactly 30 days ago today at the Mobil gasoline station where I purchase my gasoline, it was $2.99 a gallon. But I forgot to take another picture of current prices on Saturday afternoon for a months comparison in gas prices. So about a mile away from the Mobile station in the same town, I took a picture of the Flying A gasoline station which competes with them. This comparison is about how gas fluctuates and not brand names. The other station was charging $3.64 a gallon as of May 18, 2015.
The $2.99 a gallon price pictured on the left is from April 18, 2015. That is why I used 30 Days Past for my picture title. Anyway, so the difference in price from the two dates is .65 cents a gallon. Which in my case, costs me $31.20 more a month to drive to work. I'm just lucky that I only work two days a week, now. Plus, I get good gas mileage.
