People who are serious coffee drinkers think I'm a weirdo because I don't drink coffee for half the year -- I can't do warm drinks when it's hot outside. (I remember a long time ago when I was in Poland, it was August and sweltering, and I'd just been hiking up a mountain and I went to dinner and they gave me a steaming hot glass of tea --that I couldn't even really pick up, it was that hot -- and I drank it anyway and turned roughly 3,000 degrees and thought I was going to die.) But when the temperature is more temperate (and I haven't been doing any hiking up mountains) or absolutely damn freezing, I like nothing better than a giant cup of coffee in the morning.

I've tried for years to make myself eat breakfast in the morning because I know that eating breakfast is a good idea, but I just can't do it. But coffee? I can handle that.
