Weidenkätzchen
Die Weidenkätzchen zeigen, dass der Winter langsam seine Macht verloren hat.
Die schon vor dem Ende des Winters erscheinenden samtig, silbrig-weißen Blüten sind eine schöne Einstimmung auf den Frühling.
Weil so zeitig im Jahr nur wenige Gehölze blühen, sind die Weidenkätzchen auch eine wertvolle Nahrungsquelle für früh im Jahr fliegende Hummeln und andere Insekten.

After we give cuddly bear to Peter, we have a cup of tea with Bogart our best friend and then you get sewing machine oil... and you know... you love my car so much, I'll give it to you as a present!

Alpine marmots or "Murmeltiere" as they are called in German live high up in the mountains and feed on herbs. It was the first time ever that I could capture them from quite nearby, because they usually hide in their holes as soon as people approach.
In the Alps, they are a popular topic for souvenirs and toys. I remember we had a cuddly toy marmot at home.

PETER:
No Oleg, that is not possible, because you have a cold and then Cuddly bear will also get a cold.
OLEG:
I'll keep my distance. But Peter .... why are you walking on extended legs?
PETER:
The doll's pram is a bit too high for me, so then the idea came up to extend my legs with sticks. Now I can walk with it easily.
OLEG:
Have you already walked with it?
PETER:
Yes of course.
OLEG:
How far have you walked?
PETER:
Um ... two and a half inches.
And it went fine!
OLEG:
Hmmm .... I don't know Peter. It doesn't look stable.
PETER:
It IS stable, trust me .... (Peter walks a few steps)

On our drive down to Postbridge last Sunday we drove past a small group of Highland coos. I couldn't resist getting out of the car to snap a photo. They're definitely my favourites!
. . . kissing a schnauzer! LOL! Our schnauzer puppy, Roux, gets along with all of "the people," but she can get a little over zealous, so she is always supervised. As you can see, though, she and Honeysuckle cuddle up sometimes, and so do all of "the people," on any given day! I guess we are all that way- more cuddly on some days than other! :)

Aber ihre Spinnennetzte, egal ob von der Sonne angestrahlt, oder mit Wassertröpfchen benetzt, flashen mich jedesmal.
Betrachtet durch ein Makroobektiv taucht man in eine Welt der Wunder ein.
Spiders are not exactly my cuddly toys,
But their cobweb, whether touched by sun rays or wetted with water droplets, flashed me every time. Seen through a macro-objektive, you experience a world of miracles.
