Fresh from being carved from a bramble in Mendocino, this immaculate looking car's frame had completely rusted through and the car broke in half like a cracked egg when they pulled it off the trailer. Canted eyes, weird gills, bumps, and creases, if this car had toes they'd be webbed. Night, overcast full moon, April 2019, 104 seconds. Warm white straight down, lime snooted into the eyes and red and blue reflected.
Here's a weird thing that maybe someone with a Green Thumb can help me understand --
Why is it that I so often see hostas with ferns growing up through the middle of them? Like, hostas interruptus or something?
That's what this is, of course -- a fern that is poking its way up through one of our hostas. Are some ferns weeds? Do ferns just like to hang out with hostas? Maybe hostas don't like ferns, though -- y'know, the fern's all like, "Do you want to hang out? Do you want to play a board game? My Mom says I should stop touching myself or I'll grow hair on my fronds, does your Mom tell you that? Does she?"
And the hosta's just like, "Dude, I... I don't know you."
