The curious growth patter of some desert plant life in the arid environment of Kodachrome Basin State Park, Utah. The lumpy surrounding soil is quite crips and is called "crypto-biotic" soil. It is the product of living organisms in the soil, and takes decades or even a hundred years to form. So watch your step, because it is crushed in one footfall.

This is a crypt that was buried deep under an old church in Rome. I can assure everyone that this is one spot I was NOT supposed to be, and certainly NOT with a camera, and definitely NOT supposed to be listening on my iPod to 80's pop tunes.

The gogodragon trail was launched on 21st June in Norwich. 84 large model dragons placed around Norwich, all in aid of the charity "Break".

from places with no atmosphere
does not burn in the light of a candle
and can create more of a web
from which mortal people
can no longer leave
The Stellar creatures
of stellar galaxy
have eyes like beacons
of green Kryptonite
to destroy the normal world
and to save the memory
of good and evil
