A bit of light on a gray day today, Always lovely to be able to get to the seaside and blow out the cobwebs

I looked at this picture and tried to think up a title. The above words came to mind. And then something made me Google it and I found someone else had got there first. Someone called R. H Sin. Go to his website and he writes:

Dear Reader,

I am writing this at 5:12 in the morning as I've been up since 1:56 am, thinking about my life and the way you'll remember it, the reader. We don't necessarily know one another; we're strangers by definition, but somehow my words mean something to you, and this is why you're probably here. For over 180 days of this year, I've taken time to disconnect from everyday social norms to reconnect with my mind, body, soul, and my family. There are questions that I've had in my heart, and interestingly enough, those answers were sometimes found in my child's eyes.

I could have written that too.

Both bushtits were at the entrance to the nest; a bit crowded for the two of them.

Hortobágy is a gathering place of tens of thousands of cranes in this season.

"I wanna get you in my spaces

I wanna take you different places

I know the touring is romantic

I know you see me as a frantic girl

But I can give you what you want

I know you like the way I held my temper

When I gave you to the world, gave you to the world

I can be your heart to let go"

Some flowering should happen soon in my area. Because of the winter week of February 15, blooming is delayed this year. Some buds froze.

This photo of daffodils was taken last February.

I had a look at the butterflies on a meadow near my house again today. There are mainly Marbled Whites at the moment and although there are many different wildflowers on the meadow they seem to prefer the thistles. Apparently the bees like them too.

I was lucky enough to have this spot to myself for around 30 mins and it was bliss... it's normally a very crowded location.

All these trees want to be at the waterline, so they can show their nice reflections... Luckily the most colorful ones seemed to have won...! ;-)

Biggest regatta every year at Lake Constance... Over 300 boats of different categories and 2000 sailors participate in this 100 km regatta from Friday evening to Saturday morning... The fastest boats make it in 10 hours...
