This year, we finally got a sorghum crop again! It's been several years since we'd been able to get a good crop. and this year we have a great crop! The stalks are nearly 8 ft tall! On Saturday, Oct. 26th during our Fall Tractor Show we will doing a Sorghum Press Demonstration from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., it's a really interesting process and you don't want to miss it!

The mushrooms went into an omelette made with the last of the mutant eggs (11 double-yolkers from a box of 12!)

This morning I saw one of our rose bushes had blossomed. I think it's confused as winter hasn't even started yet - it probably liked all of the rain it got the past couple of weeks.
Flying over Western Nevada (I think). The whole middle section of the country looks like this, although usually with more squares and fewer circles. I'm still trying to figure out why certain crops are sown in circles, and others in squares. See here for a more distant shot.
