YES! After months of hard work we finally have the Mar/Apr issue. I'm so proud of this one, even if it is only the second one! I do all the design and find a lot of talent along with my lovely friends! It's mostly locals but there are some flickrers to see! The music is all wonderful! Please take a look!
"Free association (Psychodynamic theory) is a technique used in psychology, devised by Sigmund Freud
In free-association, patients are asked to continually relate anything which comes into their minds, regardless of how superficially unimportant or potentially embarrassing the memory threatens to be. This technique assumes that all memories are arranged in a single associative network, and that sooner or later the subject will stumble across the crucial memory."

Old silver amalgam fillings from the days when I was a child. I should have brushed better. There is also a white composite filling but this is hardly noticeable.

No cavities, but some discolorations. They never told me I should have braces when I was a teenager. Only had a retainer for the upper jaw to correct my crossbite.
365 days, and all I got was a cream pie in the face.
But, seriously, it’s been an amazing journey and I’m really glad I did it.
I can’t thank you enough for keeping an eye out and for following me every step of the way. The ongoing support has not gone unnoticed. It’s been amazing. You guys are great.
I have so much more to say and a lot to expand on, but right now I’m a little worn out, so please give me a moment to collect my thoughts. Keep an eye out for a nice long and healthy blog post, coming soon.
For now, good night.
Dre :)
PS. A special thanks goes to Colin Weber for his assistance on today's shots - not only for his technical support, but for volunteering to slam a cream pie into my face. Cheers.
Each day - for 365 days in total - I will shoot and upload an image. The only rule I have set for myself is that each shot must include myself - in some way, shape or form - and anything edible.
With this, I will be pushing myself to be creative on a daily basis and hopefully develop a better eye for the image that speaks a thousand words along the way.
I hope you enjoy a year in the life of Dre... and hopefully my diet will get better throughout the journey.

Whilst my back is knackered I can't sit (as in sit-on-my-buttocks-and-hamstrings). Sitting on buses - on my way to chiropractor - consists of sitting in the airplane crash-landing pose i.e. hugging my knees. It's amazing what folk regard as acceptable behaviour when you are carrying a walking stick. By the way, this image comes from www.crookedteeth.net
Are you embarrassed to wear wear ugly rail track braces? Well now you don't have to, with Invisalign Clear braces!

Cindy’s teeth were crooked, discolored and she had gaps in her smile. She also had dark stained dental work that made her smile look older. She was a very outgoing person, but still was self-conscious about her smile. She has been wanting to improve her smile for a long time and finally had the opportunity to do so.
Dr Patel preformed a combination of crowns veneers and briefs to help give Cindy her smile back!
Summo was sure that if he just smiled at enough people surely someone would realize his intense desire for straight teeth.

One of my favourite shots that I've taken with any digital camera; this was taken a while ago (March, 2007) with a Kodak EasyShare Z650, which I no longer use.
This is much finer than it looks; the scan has invariably smoothed it and reduced the lighting which really brings out its detail.
There is something about this photo that captivates me.
Half-fringe, delicate neck, her collarbone causing a light bump in the chain of pearls. Sailor-collar blouse. Most of all her teeth, the two front ones crooked, and the incisor on the left. Kind smile with a hint of a giggle, or an uncertain, vague, somewhat wary, stare? I can't decide.

Found: Ancestry Antiques, Darling St., Rozelle (New South Wales, Australia), 22nd January 2011.
