Well, I had a long day.....It did not start out great (weather wise). I was finally able to get some hiking in on the Parkway. Here's a little critter I ran into.

Back in November, it seemed that bugs and spiders were all over the Mushrooms. Hard to find any without little critters on them.

Jackrabbit spots me but doesn't take off - desert of San Felipe near the Sea of Cortez (Mexico).

Yes we have had more rain which means my paddocks resemble lakes rather than grassy yards :( The cats get so used to walking with wet feet they don't even avoid the puddles anymore.

I was going through some of the older photos and came across these little critters. Does anyone know what they are? I know I was in the village of Little Washington where there is a really large garden and I think these were probably not a welcome addition to the garden judging by the look of the leaf below them. I don’t like to commit myself about heaven and hell — you see, I have friends in both places.

So i tried a lil challenge to push myself, and who better than My lil sexy Star and my brain pain Parrot to practice on.

This little guy just kept coming back to my hand for seeds, look at his little paws on my fingers, they were ice cold!

I got the distinct feeling this guy was trying to point out that the bird feeder he had been marauding for days needed refilling.

After a little hesitation, Critter decided that he really likes playing in the snow and stayed out all day.

Tomorrow, I'll buy him a sled.
