Ein Kreuz auf der Oberfläche. Runzlige und faltige Haut eines Aliens?

Yesterday I could hardly resist picking up one of those beautiful, golden and crumpled leaves in our garden – they were shining so brightly in the sunlight. But it was just too windy. So I decided to go back inside and encountered this alien-like wrinkled skin. The bony cross of an alien? Also brilliantly bright ... but a bit more scary than the natural leaves ;-)

Gestern konnte ich kaum widerstehen, eins von diesen schönen, goldenen und zerknitterten Blättern in unserem Garten aufzuheben – sie leuchteten so hell im Sonnenlicht. Doch es war einfach zu windig. So beschloss ich, wieder nach drinnen zu gehen und begegnete dieser Alien-gleichen runzligen Haut. Das knöcherne Kreuz eines Alien? Auch so schön leuchtend ... aber etwas unheimlicher als die natürlichen Blätter ;-)

Ingredients: Green crepe paper (folded crosswise), sunlight and two flashlights (top and side lighting)

Money, money, money... This is my contribution to this weeks theme "Crinkled, Wrinkled, Folded or Creased". HMM to all of you!

Probably everyday there are many reasons to cry and to feel your heart shrinking, for all the madness and evil that is in the world... But, this last weekend, was sadly specially in the sweet Nepal and the terrible earthquake that shook that part on our planet. Very sad saw all the people crying and asking for help.
I try for Macromonday group to make something for today's theme (Crinkled, Wrinkled, Folded or Creased) but I really couldn't focus and the results were the ugliest. Then, I remember I had this "paint" I made with blue flowers folded (clouds) and just came as a glove and left a little tribute for people, sweet babies (animals, represented in elephants... has anyone thought about them, too?) and nature. God be with all of them.
