Puente de Piedra (Stone Bridge), Ebro River. Logroño, La Rioja, Spain.

Fifteen minutes prior to sundown. This would be the last of these effects as the bank of cloud along the horizon thickened, cutting out any chance of a sunset.

6 handheld portrait shots stitched together in PS.

we have a huge dump of snow today .. its so pretty ..

Happy holidays to all

Just back from a trip to Banff and Jasper Canada along with stops at Glacier NP, Yellowstone NP, and Grand Teton NP. We had a great time however, our trip with plagued with mostly clear blue skies and haze which lead to little wildlife. Our first morning in Banff we went to Lake Minnewanka and found some beautiful rays as the sun was coming up.

Happy Canada day to my fellow Canadians from UK ..

my first non Canada day in 34 years

not in Explore .. my images are not good enough

Koalas are only awake for a short time each day so it's not always easy to get a photo with their eyes open. So one eye open is still pretty good.

Feliz semana.

"... Esta alvorada fronteira

que vem brotando dos campos

apaga a luz das estrelas

e o lume dos pirilampos...

A noite que foi se embora

toda encilhada de lua

cedeu poemas pra aurora

forjando rimas charruas ..."

Fragmento de "Alvorada fronteira", de Anomar Danúbio Vieira

Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil

Not a very inspiring name for a thing of beauty, apparently the word means, "Indistinct" don't know who first named these wonderful rays, but the person was definitely not a poet.
