Happy Hour Color Crawl. As part of the Arts and Creativity Weekend, university museums and galleries across the Colgate campus participate in the Happy Hour Color Crawl. At each of the four participating galleries; Wynn Hall, Longyear Museum of Anthropology, Picker Art Gallery, and Clifford Gallery, unique mocktails styled after one of the many colorants and dyes present in our weaving worlds are offered. Participants can pick up a passport and have it stamped at each of the galleries to be entered into a special raffle.This event coincides with the university museum exhibitions: Labor and Meaning Behind Weaving at the Longyear Museum of Anthropology, Alumni Hall; and A Thought Is A Thread: Contemporary Artists Reworking Textile Traditions, at the Picker Art Gallery, Dana Arts Center.

A recent photography project focused on wine, which presented a unique challenge for me as a non-wine drinker. However, I drew inspiration from Michelangelo's renowned Sistine Chapel fresco, "The Creation of Man," and added my own twist to create "Cheers To Creativity."
