I made a necklace, or should I say, I almost finished making a necklace. It has been sitting in a rarely used room for quite some time, literally gathering dust.

Now I try, but come up with nothing but empty thoughts. The product of over thinking.
I'm thinking of starting some sort of mini series to get going on this again. But really have no idea what I'd like to do.

Le vecanze ti permettono di avere tempo e il tempo significa fare quello che si vuole, con la mente libera, senza impegni, senza stress, quale opportunità migliore per dedicarsi a quello che piace (ovviamente parlo della fotografia) e sperimentare qualcosa di nuovo con soggetti che nella quotidianità è più difficile avvicinare?
Questo scatto è nato così: dopo aver fotografato in maniera classica una ruota panoramica (mi sa che quegli scatti non li vedrete), prima di andarmene ho montato il 50ino e con la massima apertura ho provato ... la ruota si stava muovendo chiaramente, beh, l'effto mi è piaciuto parecchio e ne ho fatte un pò che vi toccherà pian piano vedere :-)

This shot came after some ordinary shots to a ferris wheel, before living I put on the camera my 50mm and at f1.4 I tryed to shoot, the wheel was moving ... well, I really liked the result and I took many of this I will upload in the future :-)

I dedicate this image to my teacher Ms. U. Dutt who passed away today (06/06/15) ... She taught me in grade 9 and 10 and always encouraged us to do things differently... RIP Mam ..

Resulta difícil a veces comprender la manera en que llegamos al Planeta Tierra. Lo hemos habitado por millones de años, esparciéndonos por lugares remotos y llenando cada rincón con nuestra presencia.
Erroneamente hemos llegado a creernos los propietarios únicos y absolutos del lugar que habitamos, ignorando cualquier otro tipo de vida en él.
Con el paso del tiempo comenzamos a evolucionar. Logramos sentirnos y ser, superiores a otras especies. Hemos progresado en cuanto a avances tecnológicos, comunicación, seguridad, bienes materiales, y demás ideas de lo que pensamos es una buena vida.
Como consecuencia de ello, hemos crecido también en la equivocación de ignorar que la finalidad de ser integrante de este planeta no es exactamente esa. Nos hemos vuelto ciegos e idiotas negándonos a nosotros mismos el desastroso final que vamos provocando a nuestro paso.
Vivimos extremadamente confiados, en una burbuja tan endeble, que no conseguirá soportar el peso de tanta insensatez y agresión a la cuna que nos protege y alimenta, y contra la que hemos vertido la parte más inhumana que nos puebla el alma: la indiferencia.

Today is International Day of Happiness. I was personally very happy to find my old journal that i started when i was in school. I used to carry this with me everywhere and jot down ideas for concepts, things i wanted to shoot (either for school or not), inspirations. The particular pages in the image on the right show my notes and "mind map" for a school assignment that ultimately generated one of my favorite images: this photo of Patrick.
Nowadays, i make notes wherever i am in the fantastic and irreplaceable Evernote, but there's something about the physical act of writing/sketching on paper that electronic devices will never replace. Maybe i'll start carrying a notebook again...
