Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and we have another awesome theme at Looking close on Friday : Creative or Unusual Packaging.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, my husband got me some jewelry from Swatch. It was an awesome gift (and I still wear this jewelry very often) but the packaging was so unusual that I had to keep it… Of course, that is an excuse since I’m a hoarder and I keep everything … but still, the Swatch « box » is very creative in my opinion. It is made from semi transparent and very stretchy rubber. It has two parts which you can open to put your object inside. It is like putting something between two pages of a book. The rubber allows you to use it for bigger objects: like an egg for instance… The question is , is an egg a better gift than jewelry ? I guess it depends for who the gift is for ;-) !
And since I never got another Swatch gift since, I dont know if they still use that kind of unusual packaging nowadays.
See you later my friends ! I wish you all an amazing day !
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

It is a bar of lemon scented soap wrapped in recycled paper and decorated with a ribbon and wooden ladybug (which I am not sure why but it is eye catching lol). I had bought it about a year ago and it has been in my linen closet ever since. I thought it would work well for this week's challenge. :)

Eight inch diameter milk chocolate discs packaged in golden foil to look like a Kennedy Half Dollar. I've seen versions of these in the size of real coins but these are huge. For the Looking Close... On Friday group, challenge: Unusual Packaging.
Not a very interesting image I know but here a really unusual and creative packaging idea . Most plastic bag closure systems don't work. This manufacturer has devised a velcro press lock system that does what it says.👍.
