And now for something completely different! I am so proud of my local restauranteurs & how quickly & creatively they are responding to the new "normal" caused by CORONA-19--both to protect their livelihood, but also to aid people in specific and the community as a whole!
Given our current paper shortages, here in Troy, New York, Susan Dunckel of Sweet Sue's Copper Pot (one of the great vendors at River Street Market in downtown Troy), had the whimsical idea to bake Troylet cakes, prepared to look like rolls of toilet paper & packaged accordingly. They have been a huge hit & I had one delivered today!
