I didn't want to start over from scratch so I just blobbed paint over random parts of the wall and wrote a phrase that describes my shitty personality disorder...
Big thanks to Laneeks and Samien from Earthtone for letting me continue to visually fornicate on this wall for the last decade. It's so nice to have a good wall I can play around on whenever I visit home.
In response to last weeks events I decided that rather than writing Facebook rants or blocking traffic on the highway, I'd just go paint something. Hopefully the landlord doesn't catch shit from the NYPD for this. Thanks Dirty Bandits for all the help and welcome home!
wet socks... yeah...
Big thanks to the Shock Films crew for showing me around and just genuinely being awesome people. (vimeo.com/shockfilms)
This was the design studio when Todd first started in August. There's a few more people now as well. Not in this immediate space, but on the team. The christmas lights are long since gone, and it looks about the same, albeit a bit messier.
Thanks to my new friends at Balistreetart.com for putting this little paint session together and for showing me some serious hospitality during my stay in Bali!

Thanks to Public Works SF for hooking up this quick little wall. Good times!
The image focuses on the sculptural staircase of the former Warteck brewery in Basel, an industrial complex dating back to the early 1900s. Redesigned in 2014 by architects Fabian Nichele and Stefan Eisele, the stairway projects into the courtyard as a suspended structure of angular overlaps. This photograph, together with Entangled Perspectives, is part of an ongoing architectural photography project dedicated to the building.
"Passion Never Fails"
I just realized I never uploaded this commission I did for Mailchimp back in Spring of 2015. It was funny getting paid to paint here considering the last time I was in this particular building it was empty and I was not supposed to be there.
Thank you so much to Monica Campana from Living Walls for hooking this up. It really meant a lot to me.

”NEVER SAY ALWAYS” | “ALWAYS SAY NEVER” - interpret it however you want. Cheers to another fun-filled weekend spent amongst friends painting for Welling Court Mural Project.
Thank you Scarlet and Kenisha for helping me out. Thanks always to Garrison at Adhoc Art for organizing everything. And thank you Sarah for taxi-ing me around all weekend.
Quick road side spot just outside of El Chalten, Argentina. I've been living out of a van for the last 3 weeks bumming around Patagonia and it's been awesome.
I photographed, section-by-section, many blocks of Sainte Catherine Street in the western and central parts of downtown Montreal, in order to do Autostitch panoramas.
This block, which is the north side of Sainte Catherine's between Chomedy and Du Fort, was moved to the front of my queue because I know someone who works for Technicolor somewhere else in the world and I wanted to show him a street-level shot of where Technicolor is located in Montreal (okay, it's actually one of a couple of different locations in the city).
This was actually at the beginning, and his first tree he climbed. He greeted me next to this tree. Here, he's taking a nibble to gain his strength for the adventure to follow! Don't worry, he doesn't eat his snack all at once. He carries it with him. © Maria Dorothea Campbell 2014

This piece is based off of a venn diagram originally designed by LA based Benjie Escobar which places the word "art" at the intersection of "absolute narcissism" and "crippling self doubt". This graphic has resonated with me for several years so I felt the urge to paint it one weekend in the sweltering Brooklyn mid summer heat. Most true creatives are conflicted individuals in some way or another whether we like to admit it or not. Narcissism drives a lot of us to get out there and produce, while self-doubt drives us to constantly question ourselves and innovate. Finding a healthy balance between those two factors is not easy and I think that's why a lot of creatives tend to be a little crazy. Or maybe I'm just crazy for thinking that. I don't know

Painted this wall while passing through La Paz with my new friends Khespy & Oveja. Traffic on this street is non stop bumper to bumper from 7am to 10pm so getting a photo was a bit of a task. I snapped this shot at 6:30am just as traffic was starting to pick up.
My little pal and I have taken this bonding thing to the next level now. No longer does he run away to eat and with his back to me, but faces me while eating. I can stand just a few inches away from him while he's eating, and he doesn't run away. He's "sharing" his snack (that I provided) with me, he's socializing (because eating with another is an intimate form of socializing), and he's "trusting". It's amazing how fast this happened over such a short period of time. He also recognizes my voice when I call him. He's too much! © Maria Dorothea Campbell 2014
I think this is a fairly new installation. There no longer are gaslights as a rule in New York City, but on this block, there are several now. I must say, it is a beautiful addition to the neighborhood! © Maria Dorothea Campbell 2014

This American Robin mom got very busy hunting for worms for her little chicks. They were hungry little buggers. I witnessed it! Hopefully I'll be able to catch it soon before they leave the nest. © Maria Dorothea Campbell 2014
PROJECT: The primary mark for the Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club, a NationalHockey League team.
DESCRIPTION: Formerly the Quebec Nordiques, the franchise moved to Denver where it was renamed the Colorado Avalanche. A highly publicized national campaign generated much anticipation of the re-d esign of the logo. Ranked as one of the top selling team logos in NHL history, the Avalanche would win the Stanley Cup in their first season after the move, and add another in the 2001 playoffs.
