Time to sit down and look through my book photography lists for the year. The chocolate and sugar should keep me up all night.

ovidiu șelaru, master of street intuition, paused—just for a breath. in a fast-paced workshop shaped by his staggering visual acuity, this quiet frame emerged. a man usually in motion, usually watching, suddenly still, suddenly seen. hands framing a face etched with the weight and wit of his lens-driven life.
Happy Valentine's Day! 💖
My new original mixed-media artwork created with oils, acrylics, and collage elements. This piece captures a moment of passion, movement, and connection—two souls dancing together, locked in a romantic embrace. The textured layers and rich colors invite you to feel the depth and warmth of the scene.
A vibrant and colourful piece of multi-layered abstract acrylic art. A journey through colour and texture! This abstract piece combines bold strokes, intricate patterns, and layered forms to create a dynamic, multifaceted composition. With pops of green, orange, pink, and blue blending harmoniously, it evokes a sense of nature, structure, and spontaneity. The interplay of circular patterns, linear elements, and fluid shapes invites the viewer to explore every inch of its detail.

there's a fire starting in my heart
reaching a fever pitch
and it's bringing me out the dark
- Adele, Rolling in the Deep
Have you ever had one of those days where there's so much creative energy swirling inside of you that you almost feel like you lose control over it and it takes on a life of its own? I had that feeling today. I wrote a scene in my book that I've had in my head since the day I started writing this story. I'll need to make some revisions later, sure, but to finally get that scene written? Holy. I felt like it was writing itself and I was just riding along on a swell of emotion. Pretty amazing energy. Days like this make me feel so good about what I'm doing right now.
Don't underestimate the things that I will do.
Musically Challenged: Adele - Rolling in the Deep
Urban scene in front of the Institut Français de la Mode, Paris. A person walks along the cobblestone path bordering the Seine, passing the glass façade of the IFM building. The architecture blends transparency and industrial lines, reflecting the creative energy of the fashion school. In the background, the river and cityscape frame the moment with quiet urban rhythm.

L’architecture mêle transparence et lignes industrielles, reflétant l’énergie créative de l’école de mode. En arrière-plan, le fleuve et le paysage urbain encadrent le moment dans un rythme parisien apaisé.

Each of us is an artist. Everyday we create our lives by painting on our mind-body-spirit canvas. Observe your mind. How does your inner artist paint with your thoughts and feelings?
The sun burned down on the pavement of the small festival stage as Naïa closed her eyes, feeling the pulse of the music. Her arms moved in sync with the congas, the maracas in her hands creating a hypnotic sound that captivated the crowd.
Behind her, her bandmate drummed with tireless energy, while Naïa surrendered completely to the moment. The people in front of the stage danced barefoot, laughed, and let the music carry them away. This was her moment—an instant of perfect harmony.
As the last note faded, Naïa opened her eyes. Silence. Then, an explosion of cheers. She smiled. The rhythm of the street had once again touched people's hearts.
Now that the scanning of old pictures from my parent's albums is done, I spend the nights working on the box that the pictures will be a part of. The prints should arrive in the mail tomorrow. No time for writing though, but next week will be better again after I've finished this present.
AA077 - STRAWBERRY FIELD REVISITED... A vibrant fusion of warm reds, glowing yellows, and soft pinks intertwined with bold textures and patterns. This abstract composition feels like a kaleidoscope of psychedelic energy and warmth, with subtle gridlines, marks and a variety of shapes adding rhythm to the mind-expanding chaos.
A perfect painting for sparking joy and bringing a pop of crazy trippy colour to your day! Acrylic and mixed media come together to create a truly dynamic visual experience. 🎨🔥

These two exist in many forms more or less, and after death the soul passes to one of them and there receives its due; but that existence too is marked by desire and action, and is therefore productive of merit or demerit, and as the soul is thus still entangled in the meshes of karma it must again assume an earthly garb and continue the strife.

Perhaps today is as good as it gets. I'm always searching for creative energies and happily-ever-afters. During the times we are trailing, maybe that's when we are at our best.... I do love the adventure in exploring.
I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times…
In life after life, in age after age, forever.
My spellbound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs,
That you take as a gift, wear round your neck in your many forms,
In life after life, in age after age, forever.
Whenever I hear old chronicles of love, its age-old pain,
Its ancient tale of being apart or together.
As I stare on and on into the past, in the end you emerge,
Clad in the light of a pole-star piercing the darkness of time:
You become an image of what is remembered forever.
You and I have floated here on the stream that brings from the fount.
At the heart of time, love of one for another.
We have played along side millions of lovers, shared in the same
Shy sweetness of meeting, the same distressful tears of farewell -
Old love but in shapes that renew and renew forever.
Today it is heaped at your feet, it has found its end in you
The love of all man’s days both past and forever:
Universal joy, universal sorrow, universal life.
The memories of all loves merging with this one love of ours -
And the songs of every poet past and forever.

This striking studio-city portrait captures a moment of playful confidence and pure charisma. The woman stands front and centre, commanding attention in a tailored short denim dress that’s both structured and flirtatiously modern. The rich blue fabric flatters her figure, cinched neatly at the waist by a matching belt that adds shape and accentuates her poise. The dress’s clean lines and slightly retro cut give it a timeless edge — half vintage, half contemporary statement.
Her white high heels are a deliberate contrast, bright and sharp against the dark floor, giving her look a polished finish and adding vertical energy to her pose. The way she stands — feet balanced, hands mid-gesture — suggests movement and personality: a confident presenter, performer, or woman in charge of her own narrative. Her legs, toned and strong under the studio lights, catch just enough highlight to create a sense of energy and vitality.
The backdrop of city windows adds depth and atmosphere — skyscrapers framed in soft focus, suggesting she’s high above the world below, part of the metropolitan rhythm. The overall composition balances personality and power: it’s fashion photography that feels spontaneous, alive, and a little cheeky.
Her blonde hair is cut in a clean modern bob, perfectly framing her expressive face. The bold red glasses add a flash of personality and colour, making her instantly memorable. Her pose — open, animated, and self-assured — feels like a moment caught mid-conversation, a professional woman breaking the formality with charisma and spark.
This image celebrates individuality and self-expression — a mix of glamour, confidence, and playful energy, grounded by that unmistakable blue denim texture that never goes out of style.

# 🎨 *The Painting in the Artist*
In a gallery tucked between the steel veins of the city, where concrete met canvas and neon flirted with nostalgia, she stood—unapologetically bold, a living brushstroke against a riot of color. Her name was Sera, and she wasn’t just in the painting. She was the painting.
Clad in a sleek black leather outfit that clung to her like a second skin, Sera’s presence was magnetic. Her red hair cascaded in waves, catching the gallery lights and seeming to bleed into the abstract backdrop behind her—an explosion of swirling color, splashes of electric blue, citrus orange, and fuchsia that danced like emotion made visible. The painting behind her was hers, but it was also her mirror.
She had painted it in a fevered burst of self-expression, each stroke a declaration of defiance, each swirl a rebellion against conformity. The canvas was large, almost overwhelming, but it bowed to her presence. Viewers didn’t just admire the art—they felt it, as if her confidence had seeped into the pigments themselves.
Sera’s pose was deliberate: chin lifted, one hand on her hip, the other relaxed, fingers stained with dried paint. Her black jacket, tailored and edgy, framed her like punctuation in a sentence of color. She didn’t smile, but her eyes held a spark—an invitation to see not just the art, but the artist. Not just the woman, but the force.
Around her, the gallery buzzed with murmurs and admiration. Some called it street art elevated to high fashion. Others saw emotional depth in the chaos. But all agreed on one thing: Sera had turned the act of painting into performance, and the performance into portraiture.
She was the muse and the maker, the canvas and the color. In a world that often-demanded softness, she chose sharpness. In a culture that prized subtlety, she embraced spectacle. And in that moment, framed by her own creation, she reminded everyone that true artistry isn’t just about what you make—it’s about who you dare to be.

There’s something about a Sigur Rós performance that already feels like a world unto itself—slow-moving, tidal, luminous. Add a full orchestra to the equation, set it inside the Orpheum Theatre, and light the entire stage in a sea of red, and the whole night turns into a kind of sonic eclipse.
This moment lands right at that intersection where restraint meets scale. The orchestra forms a glowing arc around the band, each music stand catching the light like a constellation, while the conductor anchors the center with calm, deliberate gestures. The red wash radiates across the space, almost cinematic, deepening every silhouette and giving the performance an otherworldly charge. It’s a rare sight: classical instruments driving a swell that feels both intimate and enormous, familiar and strange, exactly the kind of contrast Sigur Rós thrives in.
From the crowd, you can feel the hush—an entire room suspended in one long breath, waiting for whatever comes next. The Orpheum, with all its history and ornamentation, becomes part of the instrument, its architecture catching and carrying the sound. A night where music doesn’t just fill the room—it shapes it.
