Scout Book is pleased to have been a sponsor of Mount Hood Community College's Integrated Media Program's end-of-the-year portfolio review that took place at Nemo Design HQ back in June.
The MHCC students created this fabulous Scout Book that is one of our favorite examples of a creative use for a custom interior.
The interior pages featured photographs, contact information and room for notes on each recent graduate. These Scout Book put the faces of the participants in the hands of their future employers, collaborators and peers. What a good idea!

These skeletal Scout Books were created by Matthew Trevaskis of Hola Pistola. The image on the books was created from one of his favorite etchings by his favorite illustrator and artist, José Posada. Living and working in Melbourne, Australia, Trevaskis has plans for more pieces honoring Posada to accompany these Scout Books.

Owners of Daytrip Society, Jessica Jenkins and Andy West, consider themselves “ardent daytrippers” and offer their shop as a destination for those inspired by romance and the outdoors. They began Daytrip Society in their home state of Maine with the purpose of encouraging others to go on adventures, or at the very least, surround themselves with little pieces of nature.

We teamed up with Bryony and Armin from Under Consideration to produce custom Scout Books for their Brand New Conference taking place today in New York.
These Scout Books are a terrific example of the power of overprinting. Two colors of ink combine to create a variety of tones, making for an fun and useful conference giveaway.

As part of their recent 500 Friends of Reading Frenzy campaign, they printed these charming folding cards featuring the illustration work of Carson Ellis.

Halle Cisco is a Portland-based graphic designer, illustrator and educator. She created this fantastic Scout Book full of illustrations of random folks. One of them is clutching a fish. Another wields a knife and a radish. One guy is singing karaoke with his eyes closed. Random.
Fifteen random folks sit opposite lined pages for note taking. These folks are just begging to be colored in and have their stories written!
