This project adapts an ABB IRB140 into a back massager. We created a smart end-effector –– embedded with pressure sensors –– that lets a person direct lean into the robot to control its massage routine.

The algorithm sorts any given text in a character matrix, triggering the motion for each letter in sequence.

These wall panels were created from the plywood tiles. Made from thin, lightweight plastic, the paneling system combines the textural qualities of it's wooden-form with the tactile qualities of the plastic.
