I've always hated to set goals for the new year, but now I have to do an exception about my postproduction setup!
I've been using Luminar4, and later moved on to LuminarAI. I've somehow got used to it.
But, I'm not expoliting (my choice) most of its AI features. Also, on my PC it doesn't work smoothly, I have frequent crashes, so I'm quite annoyed and improductive.
I'm considering Capture One. Got a trial version. Works very smoothly, but I'm kind of lost! Not used to layers etc. I can't make a meaningful comparison, yet.
Here you see what I got from the same RAW file (first is with C-One, second with LuminarAI)...
Any comments and suggestions form you friends are very welcome!!
Thank you :-D

[...more exercise with manual focusing...]
A small exercise, as I haven't much time lately for going out taking photos, that I called "Oldies re-edit" 😁. And it's good for practicing on my new C1Pro... Going on, the second group, shot in the early fall of 2020 again with the Nikon D7500. I was caught by the contrasting light and shadow stains and tried to capture. Location: Piancavallone in the Valgrande National Park, Verbania province, Northern Italy.
