.. I found one flower in Kloster Lorsch and augmented it a bit in C1 .. happy Crazy Tuesday :)

The left bank of the Leie, formed with the Graslei the commercial heart of old Ghent. The beautiful baroque façade of the "Gildehuis der Onvrije Schippers" (1739) in the centre reminds of former glories.

The Reep is part of the Scheldt in the centre of Ghent. View on the medieval Duivelsteen (left), the neoclassical National Bank (1905) and the Bisdomplein with the neo-gothic episcopal palace (1841-1845) and the tower of the Cathedral.

Keep going on with my "Oldies re-edit" activity.

As well as practicing on CaptureOnePro.

This shot was taken back in September 2021, after the first hour of hiking on a very long ring-trail in the Piemonte Alps, with base at Gastaldi hut, looking down the warmer valley.

Location: Pian della Mussa, Torino province, North-western Italy.

I need to start posting more shots from that glorious weekend in the Dolomites!

This is the first 3x set

Here, one morning end of August 2021, a storm was forming above the Auronzo dolomites - Cadore. IT

Late summer 2021, silhouettes at the 3 Cime di Lavaredo. Very early morning, I couldn't resist to press the shutter!

A small exercise, as I haven't much time lately for going out to shoot, that I called "Oldies re-edit" 😁.

And it's good for practicing on my new C1Pro...

So this is the first sample, shot in 2019 with my previous D7500. Did love the sun peeping out between the trunks and the whole lighting situation.

Location: Acquafraggia, Sondrio province, Northern Italy.

Dates back to May 2021, in Piemonte, a gorgeous view over River Po and its valley, aka Pianura Padana, and towards the Alps ridge.

I was impressed by the extension of the rice fields, typical in this part of our country.

Location: Belvedere of Cantavenna, Alessandria province, North-western Italy.

This is a fresh new shot, which I took today in Milano, rambling around with my daughter.

Inside-out, Santuario di Monte Grisa, on the Carso-Kras ridge which dominates Trieste and its harbour.

.. last year in two pictures .. now lets move on .. what are your plans ?

...should we stop or rather try to get in??

For this Monday,

I locked back into my 2022 files and found this contrasted #momo shot I'd like to share with you; a memory of a really good day spent in Brescia.

The famous peaks, here resemble more 3 towers, seen from Forcella Lavaredo. Late summer 2021

Val d’Orcia, Toscana.

Not a lockdown shot, but simply early Sunday morning in Ghent a few years back. The remarkable narrow building with mansard roof on the corner dates from 1885.

Yesterday's stroll in Lodi city also yielded a couple of (hopefully) interesting monochrome photos.

Standing, staring (hoping hard 🙏)

From Bullaccia panorama point towards the Molignon and Catinaccio ranges.

Alpe di Siusi, Provinz Bozen - Italy.

Far from being a wildlife photographer, for abilities and for gear.., I had lots of fun here trying to capture this pelican at lunch with my Nikkor kit telelens!

This is just one example of what you can find at Oasi di Sant’Alessio, a wildlife sanctuary just one hour away from Milan.

,..descending from higher grounds, near Lake Calaita.

A stripe of fierce silver spruces, survivors of the dreadful Vaia Storm back in 2018 and the upcoming attack of the bark beetle (bostrico, in Italian) boosted by the increasing temepratures of the last seasons..!!!
