Blogged here! My latest contribution to the Etsy New York team's blog… father's day printable cards!

An easy project I did with my elementary art class...all you need is foil, spray paint, leaves and steel wool. You can read about it here, if you like:

Tons of fun was had, that's for sure, even for daddy who helped us ;-)

Now it will take several days to dry.

Tweens in grades 5, 6, and 7 gathered for Tween Craft night, Feb. 2012.

Free tutorial on making your own cool crayons from broken old ones.

beeandlotus.blogspot.com.au/p/craft-with.html

recipe:

take all the broken wax crayons in your house

sort them by colour, chop into bits or grate

microwave until melted in order of rainbow (using same receptacle because if you are missing a colour, then adding yellow to a red stained receptacle gives you the missing orange!)

pour into silicone ice cube mould

leave to set

voila! see after.....

This is the back of the ornaments.

The fabric was a gift from Karen :)

I thought about adding a date so that we won't forget.

Cereal box cardboard, own drawings and punch maker. And... girls have something to sew while mom can craft on her own. =)
