Taken at the cellar door (which is a shed in a paddock) of the Two Metre Tall brewery. In the background is the two metre tall man himself. Great brew.
Schneider Weisse - Tap 1 Meine Blonde Weisse 5.2%. Also known as Schneider Weisse Weizen Hell. This is a very tasty blonde wheat beer. Cloves, lemon, yeasty bread - thin bodied and refreshing for a weissebeer. This I like 7/10.
Porterhouse Brewery - Celebration Stout (11%). This very strong stout requires you to take your time and enjoy all the flavours. I really enjoyed it, taking about 90mins to finish off a single bottle. 8.5/10
Down by the river in Melbourne. The Chardonnay IPA was simply stunning. Greene King IPA - ho ho - no thanks!!

It was all about delicious family fun with steamed crabs, steamed shrimp, pulled pork, local and regional craft beers, wine, spirits and all-day entertainment during one of Cape May’s most popular summertime events on the grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate, at the Craft Beer, Music & Crab Festival Saturday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) and sponsored by PNC Bank, with additional funding by DeSatnick Real Estate, Equity Communications, Flying Fish Studio, Gold Coast Production Management, Paramount Air Service and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Proceeds of the event benefit MAC's numerous free educational outreach programs. Each year, over 16,000 children throughout Cape May, Cumberland and Atlantic counties and beyond benefit from free or low-cost educational programming provided by MAC educators. MAC educators provide educational programs in school classrooms and assemblies, or at MAC’s three historic sites, on dozens of topics related to local and national history, and the arts. By doing so, MAC helps our local schools to fulfill their obligations to meet New Jersey Core Curriculum standards, often at no cost.
Schneider Weisse - Tap 7 Unser Original 5.4%. Also known as Schneider Weisse Original. Nice, but not great wheat beer. 6.5/10

Beers picked up at the brew festival in Imbersago. The xmas beer from Anchor Brewing is 2013, not 2014, so that was a disappointment (the year, not the beer). We hope to spend a week in Belgium in late spring 2015 and for sure there will be LOTS and LOTS of beer, cheese, mussels, frites, gaufres, and chocolate on the itinerary. Happy Holidays!
