Yep, that's me, bags under my eyes and all. Spent the day at the hospital while my dad had outpatient surgery. It was a resounding success - injecting bone glue into a fractured L-4. It was already partially healed so he didn't require as much and the procedure was quick. Recovery, however, was over 3 hours! Hence the bathroom picture.... :-)
Today, my wife and I visited our daughter Mara at college. After lunch, the three of us stopped by a funky little coffeeshop, where Mara took the opportunity to prop up her head with my hand.
I'm grateful for whenever I laugh! :D

3/15/10: Theme: Crack me up.
A troll toy's rear end.
My husband suggested a real b-- crack, but this was the best I could do on a family friendly site.
Then, in the end, this whole shot "Cracked me up." The thing about hospital gowns exposing ones rear end has always been an amusing topic. This troll was given to me when I broke my ankle some years ago and it is both a funny and ugly little thing.

3/15/10: Theme: Crack me up.
A long crack in a window, with lights from moving traffic shining through the window.
I literally sat and watched this thing go snap crackle and pop this morning as my coffee was brewing. I thought it might be a good idea just to toss it..:-)
We have a vulture problem in town. There are hundreds that nest nearby. I just went out on our back porch and found like 20 sitting on the trees above the house. Most flew off before I could get a better shot. Crazy!
