1.) Temperatures are taken and a few health questions must be answered (are you feeling ill, have you had Covid-19, etc.).
2.) Present proof of appointment, identification, and an insurance card if you have one. *Those without insurance will still get the shot, which is free. For those who have insurance an administration fee is sent to insurance companies.
3.) You are given some paperwork and a small ticket.
4.) You then proceed to a separate, large room where individual tables are set up where a National Guard soldier waiting. As soon as you see one of them waving their hand, you go to that table. They finalize the last questions, you sign a permission form, and then you are given the vaccine.
5.) You are then sent to a waiting area to sit for 15 minutes, in case of any reactions; you are given an appointment for your second vaccine, and an appointment card. *You will also receive an email or text confirmation with a code. (Both my husband & my email confirmations had already come when we arrived home.) Masks are required and worn by all personnel and everything is socially distanced! A perfectly run program!
