I had to raid the wife's knitting box for this week's entry.

A cute set of things to give your kitchen that extra bit of pretty.

I had a lot of fun with materials for this set. Every item has it's own custom specular material, so if you put advanced lighting on and have a light or lamp nearby, your goodies will look extra shiny in all the right places <3

All the commons come in 2 color packs, pastel & mono, and you can click on your items to change between the included colors.

Taxi to Mainstore

This Barista (can I call her that even though it's not Starbucks?) was really cool. She noticed that we (Teter, Pablo, Em and I) were all taking photos and asked if we were working on a project. I replied with, "oh we're just photographers, we take photos of everything". I guess my answer was sufficient for her and she went back to her task. Well, after I used the facilities to freshen up, she called to me and asked if I would like to take a photo of a latte, I guess someone ordered an iced latte but instead they accidentally made a hot latte. To my delight not only did I get a shot of the latte, she gave it to me for free. Yipee! Double bonus! This photo was taken while she was making the latte that was supposed to be iced. Sorry, long story. Don't read it if it's too much info. Just sharing. And as Pablo would say, sharing is caring. ;)

On the way to Maine for a few days of shooting, I intercepted A40611 08 at River Glade. Thanks to the restriction of 25 MPH at the time for key trains, I was able to leapfrog ahead of the manifest to Petitcodiac. The two GMs have no problem with the heavy train, as the snow gets whipped around with its passing. In just a few moments, the head end of the train will be "on the box" and the engineer will set his counter to ensure the detector is working properly. At the same time, the conductor will likely be crossing his fingers, hoping to not get a hot wheel or any other defect!
