Me cos-playing as She Predator Machiko. My first appearance as Machiko was @CosFest 2010. The character Machiko Noguchi was featured in the graphic novel series Aliens versus Predator published by Dark Horse Comics.

Cosplaying as the classic image of Princess Leia from A New Hope (Star Wars). This is the first time I cosplayed as her.
I've made the dress, the belt and painted the gun black. The gun is really Han Solo's gun. Leia should have Stormtrooper's gun.
The updo is a blend of my own hair and fake hair lengths mixed and rolled up and pinned with 100's of pins.
As I posed at a cinema so it was probably at some premiere, I think it was Attack of Clones so it must be 2002?
Of course I struck same pose as with the Mara picture. :P
As a total I've cosplayed about 5-6 times as Leia. About 4 times with the complicated hairdo. I think I went to both premieres (Attack of Clones and Revenge of the Sith) in this getup, as well as two conventions. And then some gatherings without the hairdo. The dress got dirty at the end, it is hard to keep a white garment clean, even with laundry detergent...

Tiana's hair was taken out of it's bun ages ago, and now she's got an epic afro I fluffed into existence. She also looks surprisingly well in Snow White's dress, so here's a combination of the two.

This is the second portrait I did at New York Comic Con in black and white. I wanted to isolate the person while creating a sort of 3 dimensional image. Doing the portraits in black and white highlights the personality of the cosplayer more rather than the clothes. I actually learned this from a quote I heard a while ago by Ted Grant in which he said, “When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls.” This is one of the reasons why I do a lot of my street photography in black and white.

Well, just Dion cosplayed as Scathach from Fate/Grand Order.
I've never tried red eyes and wig on Dion before but the result impressed me a lot.
I think red eyes and wig suit her even more than her usual eyes and wig colors. X'D
She will have to stay in this look for a (long)while since I really love her like this as I'm so obsessed with FGO and Scathach lately!

She was definitely cosplaying Gwen Stacey in a Spider-Woman(esque) costume but it wasn't the Spider-Gwen/Ghost Spider costume in the current comics.
IIRC, she and some of her girlfriends were getting their photos taken (paid for the photographer's time) and I was able to snag a few photos of her and her Captain Marvel friend in-between poses with the other photographer.
Man did I have fun today!
I can't believe I never thought of this before, but I decided to cosplay all of my OCs/dolls today XD
I had the most fun with Rin, as you can probably tell haha.
I never knew I could pull off Shuro so well o_0; I think I shall cosplay him more often lol.

I document every Dragon Con differently. Booths, Persona-style diptychs, photo shoots of troll dolls and ponies. This year, I shot video of cosplayers discussing their characters and their favorite parts of the convention. I can't wait until it's Dragon Con time again.

I shared a photo of these a few months ago when these first showed up on the property, and now I finally got out to see them working. This is a special work train operated by Keolis for lesee McCourt Construction which is the general contractor for the MBTA engaged in burying the PTC wires that were initially installed above ground on a temporary pole line. This initial project is taking place along the Fitchburg Route mainline with the little train based out of Littleton at the Quarantine Track. On this day they were working between West Concord and Concord and are seen here paused on Main 2 at MP 20.1 in the curve just west of the depot and the Belknap St. crossing. The little four car train is led by a pair of leased locomotives dressed in pseudo Rio Grande paint and trailed by a former Central Vermont caboose as a bit of early fall color hints at what's to come behind them.
PNLX 2107 is a Wabtec/MPI MP20GP acquired from the Union Pacific where it was their UPY 2107. Rebuilt in August 2006 as a low emissions unit for service in Texas it was originally an EMD GP50 blt. Nov. 1980 as Missouri Pacific 3504. Coupled behind is PNLX 9619 is a GMDD GP40-2LW originally blt. Aug. 1975 for the CN with the same number.
The pretty little caboose (PNLX 4043) is lettered for Central Vermont Railway but I'm unsure if it was an original CV car or if it was former GTW 79056 as per online sources. It is a late model wide vision style built by International Car in Kenton, OH. Sold into private ownership decades ago it spent years in Indiana and then on Michigan's Adrian and Blissfield Railroad until being sold to Precision Locomotive Leasing.
