... mostly on the garbage collectors of Coruscant, who have been really slacking off.

This somewhat strange title refers to a scene in one of the star wars movies, where you can see an immense amount of space ships flying through the air on the planet of Coruscant.
I guess this doesn't need further explanation. The picture itself was shot in one of my favorite locations close to home, where geese are abundant, and i wanted to show you a panorama of one of the areas (there are three areas more) where they are residing, eating, making noise, and from time to time leaving the ground, when a bird of prey is flying over. The squeaking and the sound of flapping wings is absolutely amazing.
Furthermore spring is arriving, so birds that nestle here are coming, for instance lapwings have arrived, and you can see from time to time a group op ca 500 individuals flying through the air which adds up to the spectacle, and on top of that starlings in massive amounts make their contribution as well to the scene.
So I tried to make something to give you a feel of what it is to be here. I stitched four pictures, and with different layers added more birds to the scene (mainly in the air). This is only a minor view of the spectacle though. I am not sure if the size of the picture is appropriate for the flickr frame, but by clicking it should be possible to see a little bit more. Hope you enjoy this pic.

Fortress Inquisitorius was an underwater stronghold located on the moon Nur. It served as the headquarters of the Imperial Inquisitor Program. The existence of the fortress was hidden from the majority of the Empire. In 14 BBY, during the Jedi Purge, a battle took place within the fortress.
The Imperial Dojo served as the training room of the Inquisitorius, allowing both Inquisitors and Purge Troopers to hone their skills. The training was fear-based, dark and abusive in nature, standing in contrast to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
Jedi and Force-sensitive beings were kept for interrogation, torture and experimentation. Prisoners remained confined here until they met their final abominable fate.
The central interrogation chamber was a torture room where Jedi and Force-users underwent a menacing procedure to transform them into Inquisitors. The room was designed, under instruction from Emperor Palpatine himself, to psychologically and physically drain a prisoner's will, forcing them to acquiesce to the evil indoctrination of the Inquisitorius.
Built for the Lights of hope collab that was on Instagram. This is the underworld of coruscant during the old republic, and idk much more about this because I am not very into the old republic Star Wars stuff.

Hover taxies were simple, automated, repulsorlift sleds used to travel short distances that could carry at least three passengers. They were used in Mandalor's capital city of Sundari as well as the Coruscant underworld, where they were known as Coruscant underworld taxis. Plo Koon and Ahsoka Tano used a hover taxi to visit bars on the lower levels of Coruscant when searching for clues to the whereabouts of Aurra Sing.
