The flowers of the dogwood trees are in bloom, in their maximum splendor.

There were some goats at the petting zoo of the creamery. I called this one by "Hey, you!" for the photo. 😊 As other places, the people have to follow the safety protocol of the quarantine, but I stayed just 20 minutes because still, there were people that weren't following the rules.

What we have learned from other becomes our own reflection.

To me a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome than the most luxurious Persian rug.

This catbird was perching on one of the trees on the roadside.

This little leaf is holding water drops from water dripping from the rain gutter of the building.

Who did not play with them in childhood? Helicopters, maple ‘copters, whirlybirds, twisters or whirligigs – no matter what you call a maple seed, they’re still an endless source of fascination.

“There is only one way to understand a lonely bench in a park: Sit on it; watch whatever it is watching; listen whatever it is listening to! Sit in spring, sit in winter, sit in summer! To understand something deeply, you need to live its life!”

Thanks for your visit and taking the time to comment so I can visit your photos, too... very much appreciated! Have a great day!🙋‍♀️.

Happy Bench Monday! and Happy Fence Friday!

The Spring flowering trees are at their best in the park, a visual delight around the trails.

Many carpenter bees were around the Red Dead-Nettle (Lamium purpureum) flowers, gathering their nectar for food when there aren't other flowers around. In the park there are just wildflowers and some daffodils right now.

Baby geese, called goslings, are incredibly impressionable and will follow virtually anything that moves, thinking it to be their mother. They have been known to follow dogs, ducks, and humans, and this behavior can be quite endearing.

Another photo from my escape to the park, walking and getting active for two hours, following the "Stay At Home" order. Here we are allowed to exercise and walk in the parks, following social distancing and using face masks.

Your clock cannot buy you more time, your bed cannot get you more sleep, so stop looking for excuses to buy more time.

Crazy Tuesday #Time

(I had a projection clock before when I was working and sometimes I woke up late or too early because I was looking at it backwards. No more clock, no more work, I'm retired now!)😉

Far away was this little green heron perched on a tree and I just had my walkaround lens. Never saw one on the canal aside of geese, ducks and little birds.

The quiet of a city that you are not used to seeing still is disarming ......

A barn with outside benches, it's convenient in case the rain surprises you. Walking on the park during Covid-19 lockdown.

People in the creamery prefer to sit and eat their ice cream outside and enjoy the animals of the petting zoo. These adorable chairs are still waiting for everything to go back to the way it was before.

"I love being Canadian. I think growing up in Canada gives you a world perspective that I certainly enjoy."

Saw this early this morning in my local park - well worth getting up at 6am.
