So, every thing started at the moment I saw the original photograph of those beautiful hydrangeas taken by my dear friend Richard Eshelby.
So, the temptaion of painting the whole scenery from scratch in Painter was irresistible, but I didn't know what I was getting myself into. The whole digital painting took me 2 months to finish, yet it wasn't enough. I had to make e composition in Ps with that painting. So, this is the result. And, you can see the amazing original photograph in the link below.
The background is the mixture of several textures, and the hydrangeas hanging out from the frame are png images from google.

It's hard to tell the gourds from the pumpkins and squash these days. there are so many colorful varieties to choose from! I just take pictures, and enjoy them all at my leisure.
It was a great pleasure to paint them, too! I was liberal with adding new colors here and there.
