O Teatro alla Scala (ou La Scala), em Milão, Itália, é uma das mais famosas casas de ópera do mundo.
O Teatro alla Scala foi construído por determinação da imperatriz Maria Teresa da Áustria, para substituir o Teatro Regio Ducale, destruído por um incêndio em 1776, devendo seu nome à igreja de Santa Maria alla Scala que antes se erguia no local.
Obra do arquiteto neoclássico Giuseppe Piermarini, foi inaugurado em 3 de Agosto de 1778 com a opera de Antonio Salieri, L'Europa riconosciuta, com libreto de Mattia Verazi.
Inicialmente se apresentaram uma série de óperas cômicas napolitanas cujos principais compositores foram Giovanni Paisiello (1740-1816) e Domenico Cimarosa (1749-1801). Entre as numerosas óperas cita-se La Frascatana
(1780), Il barbiere di Siviglia (1786), Nina, ossia pazza per amore (1804) de Paisiello, L'italiana in Londra (1780) e Il matrimonio segreto (1793) de Cimarosa.
La Scala (abbreviation in Italian language for the official name Teatro alla Scala) is a world-renowned opera house in Milan, Italy. The theatre was inaugurated on 3 August 1778 and was originally known as the New Royal-Ducal Theatre alla Scala (Nuovo Regio Ducale Teatro alla Scala). The premiere performance was Antonio Salieri's Europa riconosciuta.
Most of Italy's greatest operatic artists, and many of the finest singers from around the world, have appeared at La Scala during the past 200 years. Today, the theatre is still recognised as one of the leading opera and ballet theatres in the world and is home to the La Scala Theatre Chorus, La Scala. Theatre Ballet and La Scala Theatre Orchestra. The theatre also has an associate school, known as the La Scala Theatre Academy (Italian: Accademia Teatro alla Scala), which offers professional training in music, dance, stage craft and stage management.

In 1901 the drawing were approved for a new Church,which would relieve St.Peter`s and St.Paul`s parishes,where the population growth was large.Construction started in 1903,with a planned completion date of 1906,which was when St.John`s Parish was founded .The Church was finally inaugurated by Bishop Gottfrid Billing on Holy Teinity Day,june 1907.Designed in the Art Noveau style by Axsel Anderberg.
Tower height: 60,2m.Height to ceiling 26,13m. Length of Church 52,27m.
Both externally and internally,the Church is adorned with roses cut and carved by hand,which is why it is called "The Church of Roses".The are more than 1,000 roses in the Church.

On episode four of #Andor the scenery was greener and the TIE fighters flew to the opposite direction than they do in this old photo of mine, but it was enough to remind me of it. There's a long-ish backstory to this photograph, I copypasted it from my IG post from Oct. 2020. I seem to have not posted this photograph here before.
So, here:
For me, one of the biggest moments with Star Wars was not about the first movie itself, it’s about a movie called Star Wars II. Never heard of it? Well, at the time it was just a rumour.
In 1978 news broke out that there would be a sequel to the first Star Wars movie, it was first simply called ”Star Wars II”. They added a new opening crawl for the 1978 re-release of Star Wars, it had a new name: Episode IV: A New Hope. So the next installment would be Episode V, later known as The Empire Strikes Back.
Sometime in 1979 rumours surfaced about the filming crew for the Star Wars sequel coming to Finland for location shooting. It was the Finnish Lapland, to be exact. It was not something the guys at school made up, it was in a newspaper or a magazine. I distinctly remember reading it.
These rumours got my imagination running in high gear. Star Wars, in my home country! How cool was that!
I imagined what it would look like when the spaceships and characters would be made fit in the barren northern tundraesque landscape. The fells, the summer light and the spaceships on the lichen plains… Yes, lichen. I never thought it would be anything but an amazing midsummer setup. Even when I heard about the film crew going to Norway I did not think it was anything but another location. When the first photographs from the snowy Hoth scenes surfaced I still didn’t connect the dots. Only later, much later I realised they were not going to come to Finland – and it was never going to be a summer shoot.
There is a theory why the Finnish shoot never happened and why the crew went to Norway instead. It may have had something to do with the cold war era politics and possibly a request for the Finnish military to aid with transportation of the film crew. But despite my many inquiries, I haven’t gotten any confirmed answers. Oh well. I always loved The Empire Strikes Back, especially the Hoth sequence. Nevertheless, there is a sensation of disappointment I associate with it in some peculiar way.

Confundo el brillo del mar con el espejo del cielo, en sus aguas doradas tranquilas y en puerto, te venero… y aliento que me llevo, oro con sabor a mar acarician tus ojos. ALBA
Pupils decorated with light and gold, in the dawn twilight falls as early caress,
I leaning sighs of sailors in their boats across the bay, you awake
Night ... you shot ... day I kiss the golden glare on my poetry.
Smell of sea breeze caresses sung by seagulls adorn the sky, caress your soul and your hair not run away from your day; Alba twilight falls, name of woman who shudders.
Confused sea shine sky with mirror in its calm waters and golden port, you revere ... and breath that I take, gold flavored sea caress your eyes. ALBA

When I left the temple after 2 days exploring, the sun was going down.
Holy moment, this place is so magical.
If you ever have the chance to visit Cambodia, go there.
It is unbelievable this beauty.
A friend told me once a joke someone did when he was dreaming of this place.
“this are only old stones” he said to my friend.
He is right, but stones with history and power, much power.
