We went to a cookout held by relatives of Ron's in the town where he was born and raised. This is their dog. Her name is Ajie. Taken by Edgar.
Well I must say, a truly enjoyable evening, with Peter himself as chief cook, along with his wife Elaine as hostess.
I really don't know of any other corporate President/CEO in this whold wide world - who along with his wife - would open their home and backyard to host a picnic and bar-b-que to his customers and employees.
Peter was in fine form that evening, serving up brats and weinies, along with his usual blend of energy, good humour and regaled us with many amusing anecdotes.

We celebrated Memorial as most Americans do, gardening, eating and hanging out with friends. On Saturday, my mom and I planted sweet potatoes and peppers in her garden. We enjoyed a cookout with friends on Saturday evening, completes with hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans. We played corn hole, or bean bag toss, or whatever it’s called in your area. And of course we finished out the evening sitting around a fire.
Whatever your celebrations are this weekend, make sure you take some time to think about the real meaning of this holiday and give thanks to those that have lost their lives in service for our freedoms.
