In this scene, the latest in my Living Large series, the decorating crew paints on the royal icing and adds some ornamental trimmings on a Christmas cookie for the holiday season.

Vanilla cookies covered in fondant and hand painted. These were part of a set I did for my daughters reception class. It was book week and they all dressed up as their favourite book character on one day.
I received a lovely card from the whole class to say thankyou.

I saw this design on a cake, and decided it would make cute cookies. I made them for a secretary at work who is crazy about cows. Sugar cookies cut out using a template and decorated with glace icing.
chocolate cake + buttercream and oreo bits + double stuf oreo..
love making these .. easy + simple for a lazy person like me .. *lol*

I used fresh berries and reduced it as much as possible. The cookies are soft with a crispy outside. The kitchen smells like sweet strawberries now.

I had so much fun decorating these little cookies heh heh. And hmm, I foresee a tiny cookie workshop in the future, it'll be awesome to have you guys unleash your tiny decorating skills and creativity!

Using a computer monitor for lighting again, I found the green tinge backlighting the shot complements and contrasts the colors and makes them stand out.
Could anything be better than someone sending cookies to you? I was having a rough day when I opened my mailbox to find a box in the mail from my friend Brenda in Ohio! Several of us had exchanged names for birthday cookies and as I pulled each masterpiece out of the box, I started crying. I was so touched by the thought that someone had designed something special for me............now I know who people feel when I make cookies for them. They are just gorgeous and my picture does not do them justice, nor can you smell them - they smell heavenly, like birthday cake!!! Now that the photo is has been taken, I'll let my family dive in (except for the bouquet - I'm saving it forever!) I call dibs on the pink and green striped candle!

You know what happens when you forget to line your baking sheet with parchment paper? the cookies stick, break and you end up with only 2 :)) I made them with leftover dough, so I guess they were not meant to exist anyway!
This is part of the cookie assortment I made for my daughter's candy themed birthday party. I used glaze for the "wrapper" and royal icing for the candy and piping. Sanding sugar for the swirls. Thanks to Josef's Vienna Bakery for inspiration.
She's the most camera shy dog I've ever owned. I have to be patient and stealthy to get anything not blurred...
