The Macro Mondays theme for tomorrow, 11/7, is biscuits, or - on this side of the pond - cookies. These are one of the six varieties I bought to photograph. Luckily there is someone who will help eat them, to save me from myself… giggling.

These cookies were my second choice for the Crazy Tuesday theme. No one wanted to eat them because they were too pretty to be eaten.
These were my first gingerbread cookies. For the next Christmas I will be better prepared, I will buy bigger cutters (these are small 4 cm) so I will have more space for drawing with icing.

This weathered metal tray was thrown away on the street as trash and catching some sunlight. I thought it was a baking sheet for cookies. But according to the experts, that's not the case. So it's just my imagination. :-)
I just found I was mostly right. It's a vintage baking tray for éclairs. :-D

These are Dulce de Leche Besito Cookies from Porto's Bakery that my brother baked and gifted to us. Delish!
Here is Cookie 😍, a very docile young raptor, he takes advantage of the spaces, the house mascot, in fact the horses want to pluck him
The tulip leaves are just poking out of the ground a few inches in Pella, so my wife and I stopped at a few of the shops on the town square to "help make Pella green". Of course, we had to visit the Jaarsma Bakery to grab a snack and a few other goodies.

It is cheap thick glass with many imperfections (what can you expect for a pound) but becoming a thing of great beauty to me.. plus it comes with a grey plastic lid you know.........
