This is the place where they shot Harrison Ford's THE FUGITIVE and the tv series ER. It has been renovated and a new hospital was built behind it. The name was changed from Cook County to John Strogers Hospital as tribute to the Strogers legacy in health care and also a prominent political figure here in illinois.

The cook who prepared and served the most delicious tacos de pescado and tacos de camarón I've ever tasted. Everything from prep-work to paying is done in a five-feet square area. The elderly lady on the right slices the catch of the day, cleans shrimp, and chops cilantro, onions, tomatoes, and limes while the younger woman batters, fries, and serves your tacos and settles the bill.

Cook Out
1660 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, VA
Opened July 20th, 2013
While I know Cook Out to be a chain that takes over empty fast food joints like hermit crabs, occasionally they'll construct spiffy new buildings for themselves, sometimes with a dining room, sometimes without. We're in the touristy area of Williamsburg so of course they had to put in some seating here! This place looks great with its' warehouse-style ceiling, rustic-looking furniture, slate walls and dividers, and log cabin walls. I like that Cook Out goes for this vibe instead of copying Starbucks like several of these other burger joints.
