Bridges in New Orleans

How is it that you and i could converge on the same place; time and space, breathe the same air, be under the same sky; sun; moon and stars yet our souls couldnt be further apart?

On of those days with interesting clouds.... I'm not sure what you call these....

Palm frond in Pasadena, California -- transmitted sunlight

It`s been a while since I did a mono shot but I thought this shot called for it with the dark brooding clouds .

Castillo San Felipe del Morro - San Juan, Puerto Rico

It looked interesting as I was standing on the dock, looking up. The Black Raven's mast, and one from the Freedom, and a piling created some interesting angles, as the clouds did some pretty amazing things, too!

I might not post much else this weekend, Folks. Once the storm passes out of our area, Labor Day sales will hopefully be in full swing, and I will be busy. I'll catch up when I can!

The storm did little to our area, so thanks for the concern, Folks!

The convergence point of where the original B&O Viaduct and the B&O Railroad Bridge meet.

Wish I had more history on the replacement route but the original B & O Railroad Viaduct is a historic structure in Bellaire, Ohio, listed in the National Register of Historic Places on June 22, 1976

The spans to the bridge were completed in 1870. The Bellaire span contains 43 arched spans

Speaking of convergence this is a composite of 2 shots, one at EV-2 for the sky and another at +1 for the subject. and blended in post processing.

This fence post, the moon, and the vessel out on the ocean were all orbiting this spot in space at the same time :))

…Taken at Truro Cathedral in Cornwall - clearly ‘Master’ builders back in those days! No CAD design either!!…..
